The Crystal Theatre ~ Portland
The current Crystal Theatre in Portland was built on the site of an earlier original Crystal Theatre that was destroyed by fire in 1925.
Since 1985 the Council has operated the Crystal Theatre as a Community Hall.
Movies continue to run at the Crystal Theatre with movie weekends Friday and Saturday on the 2nd weekend of each month.
These are a volunteer-run community service.
