Energy Expo
The Energy Expo presents high-tech interactive displays - including video and static displays..
It is set in landscaped grounds with a picnic area including electric barbecues and other picnic amenities, a children's playground, tennis courts and a regular kangaroo escort.
On the western slopes of the Blue Mountains, about 20km north-west of Lithgow, Portland is surrounded by beautiful countryside which belies its industrial heritage as a major producer of coal and, more recently, electricity from the Mt Piper Power Station.

Tours take 1 hour - Free of cost.
Open daily 9am - 4pm with Tours Mon - Fri @ 11am
(except on public holidays)
Notes:
- Enclosed shoes must be worn
- Cameras and bags cannot be taken on the tour.
- Bus groups are welcome
- Small groups of 1 -2 are welcome
- School groups are welcome
By prior arrangement groups (school and bus groups) can arrange tours at alternative times.
